From the camp stove toaster, we have grown our catalog to include over 500 items across many categories – campfire cooking, fire starting, emergency items, insect protection, camp tools, ropes, bags, and more.

We create products to make the outdoors safer and more enjoyable. Our products help people connect with each other and the outdoors and maybe even get lost in those special moments together.

Job Purpose

We feel confident knowing you are looking after our customers and guests. You create a welcoming and positive experience during interactions. Sharing product knowledge and working with customers to find solutions is a highlight of your day. You keep us tidy, organized, connected, and on track. You are always ready to jump in to support a department when needed. Without you, we would be a little lost.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment in person, over the phone, and through email
  • Manage inbound calls – direct calls, answer questions, take messages
  • Be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries – log interactions, answer questions, troubleshoot problems, collaborate with other departments, resolve issues/complaints, create orders, and ship replacements
  • Prepare postal, small parcel, and courier service items
  • Order office and lunchroom supplies
  • Keep office supplies and lunchroom organized
  • Provide administrative support to various departments including data entry, document filing, company calendar maintenance, invoice approval, and invoice dispute resolution
  • Plan and organize company events and gifts – holiday parties, flowers, etc.
  • Manage season ticket subscription
  • Develop a strong understanding of the product line

Job Specifications and Requirements

  • Previous reception or order desk experience helpful
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Customer-centric and self-motivated problem solver
  • Ability to multi-task, and communicate professionally and effectively
  • Moderate knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn Coghlan’s Navision ERP
